The Harborfest for HeartWorks Online Auction is available to everyone, everywhere from Sunday, Sept 21 until Sunday, Sept 28 @ 5:00PM. Bid early! Bid often!

Winnings may be picked up at HeartWorks, 709 Main Street, Bayboro, NC starting on Monday, 9/29 from 9 AM - 6 PM.
Gift certificates will be mailed to the winners payment.

Your participation will benefit over 400 children and families who receive counseling and/or attend our free after-school and summer programs. HeartWorks is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization in Bayboro, NC. Our mission is to address the underserved educational, mental and physical health needs of children and their families in Pamlico County and surrounding areas. Education and positive mental health are the cornerstone of our efforts. Nurturing is our method.”

To make the auction a success, donations of works of art, crafts, jewelry, trips, or other items and experiences are needed before September 12, 2025. To donate, call 252-745-9703 or drop by HeartWorks at 709 Main St., Bayboro.

The Coastal Carolina Chapter Military Officers Association of America (MOAA) is running its Fall Membership Drive from September through December 2025.
The Coastal Carolina Chapter is an all-volunteer, nonprofit organization and is seeking enthusiastic, dedicated individuals who want to “continue to serve” and give back to their community. Membership is open to those who hold or have ever held a warrant or commission in any component of the Army, Marine Corps, Navy, Air Force, Coast Guard, Public Health Service, National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, or Space Force and their surviving spouses.
Our focus is college scholarships for military dependents, Toy for Tots, local JROTC and ROTC units, Wreathes Across America (WWA), and other community veteran support.

We're doing a series of skills clinics this summer. For new players it's the opportunity to learn the game. For previous players it's the opportunity to build on what you've learned and go into next year a better player. Small group instruction with some scrimmaging
