Join the Havelock Friends of the Library at their Annual Open House on either of two dates: Friday October 3 10:30A or Tuesday October 14 5:30P. Both Open House celebrations will be at the Craven Community College Havelock Campus. There will be light refreshments and lots of conversation. It’s a chance to meet current and potential members as well as Jeanne Holmgren, the Havelock Librarian. Do you have a child in 5th to 12th grade who loves to bike, or wants to bike on trails? Join us to explore Wildwood Park by bike on Sunday, October 26th between 2-4p! No experience or bike necessary (though you're welcome to bring your own) -- we'll have bikes and helmets to borrow. Our expert coaches and experienced student athletes will provide basic instruction, lead rides, and look over your bike if you're not sure it's suitable. Parents and guardians are welcome to join in the fun! Pre-registration strongly recommended (https://forms.gle/FB1zwojSW36C6Xvd7), or drop in anytime 2-4p.

Emerge Gallery & Art Center, City of Greenville's Jaycee Park Center for Arts and Crafts, ECU’s College of Fine Arts and Communication, Pitt Community College, and the Arts Education programs of Pitt County Schools invite you to this year's Youth Arts Festival, an exciting celebration of creativity at South Central High School in Winterville, NC! The 21st Annual festival will take place on Saturday, November 1 from 10:00am to 4:00pm.

This incredible event will showcase a variety of visual, musical, and theatrical arts booths where children can unleash their imaginations and create their very own masterpieces. Beyond just crafting, we’ll have engaging activities such as storytelling, music, and interactive theater to captivate and inspire. Last year, we welcomed an impressive 10,000 attendees, and we’re aiming even higher this year!
