Wilson Downtown Development and the Vollis Simpson Whirligig Park are your hosts for this FREE spring concert series. Concerts will be held 4/24, 5/8, 5/22, 6/5, and 6/19 from 6pm-9pm. We are happy to announce we will have ASL (American Sign Language) interpreters from Select Interpreting Services signing at every concert.
The FREE event, made possible by Presenting Sponsor, Wilson County Tourism Development Authority, Series Experience Sponsor, Wilson Energy, and additional Concert, Community, and Friend of Downtown sponsors, is a fundraiser for the two non-profits to support additional events and programming throughout the year.
You'll be rocking to various genres of music this season, including beach, soul, funk, pop, rock, and top 40 while chowing down from a wide selection of food trucks.

Join us at the museum for our Movies on Madison movie series! We show the movies on the museum lawn, the lawn will open an hour before the movie starts and the movies will begin at dusk. Our movies are family friendly, so no alcohol or smoking is allowed. Bring your blankets or chairs! Refreshments will be available for purchase. Check our Facebook page for the monthly movie choices! Our first movie is Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (1990) on May 19th.

Come enjoy a day outside with the Beekeepers of the Neuse as we celebrate Pollinator Day on June 21, 2025 from 10:00 A.M. to 3:00 P.M. This event is free and open to the public at Old Waynesborough Park, 801 U.S. Hwy, 117 South, Goldsboro, NC.
The whole family will enjoy learning about the mighty honey bee, native bees and pollinators of all types. There will be kids crafts, gardening information and a live observation hive where you can watch the bees working and search for the queen. Learn about the bees’ life cycle and see honey extracted. Local raw honey will be available for purchase to support the efforts of Beekeepers of the Neuse. Message Beekeepers of the Neuse on Facebook if you have questions.
