The Arts Council of Fayetteville/Cumberland County presents the 48th Annual International Folk Festival, a free celebration of the music, dance, food, art, and cultural traditions that make our community unique. Festivities begin Friday, September 25, from 4–8 PM in Downtown Fayetteville, followed by the signature Parade of Nations on Saturday, September 26, from 10 AM–Noon. The celebration continues Saturday from Noon–7 PM at Festival Park with live performances, international food, cultural demonstrations, vendors, and family-friendly activities.

The 2026 Alive at Five Concert Series is the perfect way for families and friends to enjoy an evening of music, fun, and entertainment together. Grab your lawn chair, gather your crew, and get ready for an energetic lineup featuring beach music favorites, crowd pleasing party hits, and dance tunes that will have everyone on their feet. With a lively atmosphere, great music, and plenty of family friendly fun, Alive at Five is a Crystal Coast tradition you will not want to miss. Come ready to sing along, dance the night away, and make lasting memories.

The 12th annual Ol' Front Porch Music Festival at the riverfront in Oriental, NC is Friday and Saturday Oct. 2-3, 2026. Free this year and every year, it showcases a dynamic mix of nationally touring artists and regional favorites. Music begins Friday at 1pm and Saturday at 11am on the Riverfront Stage on the Neuse River and on porches throughout Oriental. Final Riverfront shows each day start at 5pm. Golf cart shuttles along the festival route provided. Americana, bluegrass, zydeco, roots, Latin, gospel, jazz, country, folk. Not just great music. Eclectic mix of arts and craftsmen. And it's a foodie destination!
