The Tar River Community Band will perform a free Christmas concert at St. Paul's Episcopal Church, 401 East 4th St., on Thursday, December 4th at 6:30pm. All are welcome to attend and enjoy holiday music for all ages!

Community Connections: Performance and Lecture Series bridges Elizabeth City State University and community. Our mission is to produce cultural experiences which can be enjoyed by students, faculty, and staff, as well as the community at large. Our past guests include: Nikki Giovanni, Terrence J, Kierra Sheard, 9th Wonder, the Virginia Symphony, Leila Fadel, Tshombe Shelby, Marc Hill, the cast of A Different World, and the US Navy Band. Carolina East Singers Present Annual Christmas Concert
The Carolina East Singers, under the direction of Susan Gillis Bailey, will present their annual Christmas Concert on Saturday, December 6, and Sunday, December 7, 2025, at 4:00 p.m. at First Presbyterian Church in Morehead City.This year’s concert will feature the 50+ voice choir performing a beautiful collection of Christmas carols by John Rutter, along with many other seasonal favorites. Featuring Vivaldi’s “Magnificat”, a selection of carols arranged by Sir David Willcox, and a number of pieces performed by our Youth Chorale, Children’s Chorus, and Bella Voce, this concert is a perfect way to ring in the holiday season!
