Come out to cheer on athletes from around the world as they compete in traditional Highland Games. We have world champions and amateurs ready to put on a show for you! There will be a beer tent with multiple local breweries and specialty beers just for the games, food trucks, live music, clan tents, kids tents, highland dancing demonstrations, dog herding demos, sword fighting fun and so much more!
Dr. Andre Taylor, a former award-winning journalist and oral historian from NC State and the College of William and Mary, will present “Biscuits and Babble” virtually at the Library. In this presentation, Dr. Taylor will share insights about family recipes and oral histories. He will also discussed his project "Black Folk and Our Food", and encourage everyone young and old to capture family recipes and family history.

The event takes place at The State Theatre in Downtown Greenville. The Coastal Carolina Chapter Military Officers Association of America (MOAA) is running its Fall Membership Drive from September through December 2025.The Coastal Carolina Chapter is an all-volunteer, nonprofit organization and is seeking enthusiastic, dedicated individuals who want to “continue to serve” and give back to their community. Membership is open to those who hold or have ever held a warrant or commission in any component of the Army, Marine Corps, Navy, Air Force, Coast Guard, Public Health Service, National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, or Space Force and their surviving spouses. Our focus is college scholarships for military dependents, Toy for Tots, local JROTC and ROTC units, Wreathes Across America (WWA), and other community veteran support.
