The 39th Annual North Carolina Seafood Festival is one of the area’s most popular, drawing in more than 200,000 people to Morehead City. The festival provides residents and visitors alike with great entertainment, family fun, and most importantly, the best seafood you’ve ever tasted. Food lovers have the chance to sample just about every piece of seafood imaginable or learn how to prepare their own with chef cooking demonstrations. The North Carolina Seafood Festival also features amusement rides, music concerts, a road race, pier fishing tournament, and sailing regatta. For food, you’ll find seafood such as calamari, “Down East” clam chowder, and charcoal mullet, as well as carnival classics like funnel cakes and even a wide array of desserts. Live music is offered at three different stages with continuous acts playing, all of which are free to attend. There are carnival rides and arcade games for the kids.
The Coastal Carolina Chapter Military Officers Association of America (MOAA) is running its Fall Membership Drive from September through December 2025.The Coastal Carolina Chapter is an all-volunteer, nonprofit organization and is seeking enthusiastic, dedicated individuals who want to “continue to serve” and give back to their community. Membership is open to those who hold or have ever held a warrant or commission in any component of the Army, Marine Corps, Navy, Air Force, Coast Guard, Public Health Service, National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, or Space Force and their surviving spouses. Our focus is college scholarships for military dependents, Toy for Tots, local JROTC and ROTC units, Wreathes Across America (WWA), and other community veteran support.

The Ol' Front Porch Music Festival is Folk, Americana, Bluegrass, Country, Gospel, Jazz… all in the walkable village of Oriental, North Carolina. Add in arts, crafts, food & more. When John (Edward Norton), a thirty-four-year-old window cleaner, learns he has only a few months to live, he tries desperately to find the perfect family for his three-year-old son, Michael. During a series of auditions, various potential parental pairs come forward, but most turn out to be unsuitable. One exception is a woman who, after giving up a child for adoption as a teenager, learned she couldn’t have biological children. With sympathetic acquaintances and eager social workers urging him to choose, John feels immense pressure, as this decision is crucial for Michael’s future. (118 minutes)

Hop aboard our scenic trolley tour circulating through Downtown Greenville from Dickinson Avenue to ECU’s Main Campus, making a full ArtWalk route loop approximately every 20 minutes (construction may affect this timing).
Park your car and ride the trolley to meet up with friends and explore your city. You can hop on and off at any stop!

he Greenville Museum of Art (GMoA) announces the opening of its new exhibition, "Archiving Place," on October 3, 2025. On display through March 14, 2026, this exhibition in the West Wing and Commons Galleries features textile artists from the Southeast.
"Archiving Place" uses textile art to explore the concept of place through each artist's personal experience, from physical geography and culture to emotional and virtual spaces. The featured artists are all members of the Southeast Fibers Educators Association (SEFEA), a group committed to preserving textile traditions while exploring new artistic boundaries.
The museum invites the public to the opening reception on Friday, October 3, from 5:00 to 8:00 PM, for light refreshments and a chance to meet the artists.
Admission to the museum and all exhibitions is free and open to the public.
