The Coastal Carolina Chapter Military Officers Association of America (MOAA) is running its Fall Membership Drive from September through December 2025.The Coastal Carolina Chapter is an all-volunteer, nonprofit organization and is seeking enthusiastic, dedicated individuals who want to “continue to serve” and give back to their community. Membership is open to those who hold or have ever held a warrant or commission in any component of the Army, Marine Corps, Navy, Air Force, Coast Guard, Public Health Service, National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, or Space Force and their surviving spouses. Our focus is college scholarships for military dependents, Toy for Tots, local JROTC and ROTC units, Wreathes Across America (WWA), and other community veteran support.

The Halloweeni Jamboreeni, GMoA's largest annual event, returns with free admission. This carnival-style event will include seasonal games and activities both inside and outside the museum. Attendees can also enjoy festive crafts, dance performances, a Trunk-or-Treat, and more. Food trucks, including Sparky’s Snowballs, The Rock, Chula's Truck, and Black Beard, will be on-site. Guests are encouraged to register in advance and can make a pay-what-you-can donation to support GMoA's mission.

Violinist Ariel Horowitz and percussionist Britton-Rene Collins are co-winners of the 2020 Concert Artist Guild’s Ambassador Prize, awarded to musicians who show an exceptional level of virtuosity and humanity. Do you have a child in 5th to 12th grade who loves to bike, or wants to bike on trails? Join us to explore Wildwood Park by bike on Sunday, October 26th between 2-4p! No experience or bike necessary (though you're welcome to bring your own) -- we'll have bikes and helmets to borrow. Our expert coaches and experienced student athletes will provide basic instruction, lead rides, and look over your bike if you're not sure it's suitable. Coastal Carolina Riverwatch will host the Water Quality for Fisheries Symposium October 27–28, 2025, at the Duke Marine Lab in Beaufort. This annual event provides a forum for sharing research, policy, restoration, and advocacy that protect coastal water quality and fisheries in North Carolina. Researchers, fishermen, policymakers, industry, and community stakeholders will collaborate on priorities to guide future action.
