"As more people seek environmentally conscious options for themselves and their loved ones, the landscape of death care is changing. In this engaging and informative talk, Hunter Beattie, owner of Endswell Funeral Home, will explore the emerging trends in modern, eco-friendly death care–including aquamation (water cremation) and green burial–and how these alternatives compare to traditional funeral practices. The discussion will also highlight The Good Death Movement, a cultural shift toward embracing open, honest conversations about mortality. Attendees will learn about the importance of end-of-life planning, including practical steps for ensuring their wishes are honored.
