Arts To End Genocide (ATEG), a New Bern not for profit will be presenting the 3rd Annual Global Music Festival. This is a free event and our gift to the New Bern community. The festival will celebrate the many cultures that make up the fabric of New Bern through their music and dance. This year the festival will again present a diverse mix of music representing many cultures. It will feature Pantasia a steel band, Los Sabrosos del Sol, the popular Latin group, African dance lessons by SUAH African Dance and Hindu dances by Soulful Sisters. The final performance will be the audience, led by Finley Woolston and accompanied by Pantasia singing “We Are The World.” This most enjoyable event will have ethnic food trucks, a beer and wine tent and children’s activities.
This is an opportunity for everyone in our community to experience a time of unity and share the spirit of brotherhood through music and dance.
