Come Again is a social respite program where people in early to middle stages of dementia spend time with trusted, trained volunteers in a safe, judgment-free space. We aim to bring joy, friendship, and purpose to everyone while giving care partners a chance to rest. Activities include fellowship, music, art, movement, and service projects, plus a hot lunch. Starting May 1, Come Again meets every Thursday from 10 am to 2 pm at Trinity United Methodist Church, 2311 Elizabeth Ave. There is a small fee to attend. Come Again honors our loved ones living with dementia by lifting up their remaining strengths in a supportive, creative and purposeful way. The First Friday ArtWalk is celebrated on the first Friday of each month. It is a time to enjoy Downtown’s eclectic mix of restaurants, galleries, shops, and live music venues along your stroll! Enjoy amazing artwork, live music, delicious food, and local beer.
The FREE Emerald Express Trolley will run from 5:00pm – 9:00pm during all Downtown Greenville First Friday ArtWalks! Hop aboard our scenic trolley tour circulating through Downtown Greenville from Dickinson Avenue to ECU’s Main Campus, making a full ArtWalk route loop approximately every 20 minutes (construction may affect this timing).
Park your car and ride the trolley to meet up with friends and explore your city. You can hop on and off at any stop!

Whether you’re a boating enthusiast or prefer to keep your feet on dry land, the Annual Wooden Boat Show has activities for all ages. The show takes place on the first Saturday in May and is the longest ongoing wooden boat show in the Southeast.
This free event celebrates the art of North Carolina boat building and the sport of boat racing. Dozens of handcrafted wooden boats will be on display and activities are available for all ages.
The show has something to offer everyone, even those who are not wooden boat enthusiasts. There are activities for children and opportunities for families to do things together, such as taking a boat ride. Youngsters can take part in maritime games and crafts in the Wooden Boat Kids area. Kids can also make their own model sailboats. Enjoy traditional skills demonstrations and displays, educational activities, historic vessels, boat models, traditional sailboat races, and sailboat rides.
