Join us on Saturday November 5th in a festival of fun and community engaged scholarship, as we celebrate the connection between our environment, our river, and our local community. This event will host fun activities to expose people of all ages to art, science, promote shared learning about challenges faced by different communities and brainstorming about possible solutions, and build awareness around water issues and environmental challenges in our region. All community members from throughout the Tar-Pamlico region are encouraged to participate – we want to hear your perspectives on how you engage with the river and what issues impact you!
