Landscapes that Save the World: The Importance of Biodiversity in the Garden
Our November garden lecture series on Saturday, November 8, features renowned gardener, Bryce Lane, presenting “Landscapes That Save the World: The Importance of Biodiversity in the Garden.” When it comes to plants in the landscape, there is strength in diversity. All too often we don’t spend enough time thinking about how important it is to promote a well-balanced ecosystem in and around our home landscapes and gardens. This talk focuses on why it is important to create biodiverse outdoor spaces, and what we can do to achieve that goal. Topics include “plant blindness’, attracting wildlife, soil building, turf grass management, native plants, and more!
