The Global Citizen Music Festival is a FREE event celebrating brotherhood and our shared humanity. It will present music from many cultures, with performances by musicians bringing their talents to New Bern from Africa, Asia and Latin America. There will also be a community choir. The theme running throughout this inspiring program is brotherhood, as people from all backgrounds in our community gather to sing and dance together, express our shared humanity and our role as global citizens.. There will be food trucks and a fun and educational activity for children. A Free Instrument Making Workshop will allow young participants to unleash their creativity by making their own musical instruments using simple, everyday materials.
