Gem of the Crystal Coast: The Crystal Skipper

Gem of the Crystal Coast: The Crystal Skipper

How can we support and protect this native and rare butterfly?
The Crystal Skipper Butterfly Project is a research and conservation initiative focused on a species found only on a 30 mile stretch of North Carolina's barrier islands. Bri Hoffman, Project Manager, will share information on the skipper's discovery, recognition as a species, and status as a rare and endemic butterfly. She will discuss threats to the Crystal Skipper and other coastal organisms and pollinators and the project's current research efforts.
Bri will suggest some ways we can help to bolster the skipper and other wildlife.
Carolina Nature Coalition invites you to join Bri Hoffman @ 7:00 PM, Tuesday, August 26th, at UUFNB, 308 Meadows Street, New Bern...Or
