On June 10th,2023 the N.C. Division of Marine Fisheries will celebrate this 200th anniversary with a Bicentennial Jamboree to be held at the Division of Marine Fisheries Headquarters in Morehead City. This will be an opportunity for the public to learn about how much fisheries management has evolved over our long history and the invaluable services we provide to the citizens of North Carolina. We’re also partnering with Carteret Community College to provide tours and demonstrations about fisheries management and conservation. There will be informational booths, demonstrations, tours, food trucks & games.
