The second day of the Annual Plant Sale conducted by the Carteret County Master Gardener Volunteer Association will feature perennials, herbs, bulbs, native plants and heirloom tomato plants. There will be plants for sun and shade, dry places and wet. For nearly two decades the Master Gardener Scholarship Program has funded scholarships for county students. This year anyone in the Horticulture Program at Carteret County Community College is eligible to apply. Proceeds from the Plant Sale, and the sale of colorful gardening gloves support this funding.
