The Annual Plant Sale conducted by the Carteret County Master Gardener Volunteer Assoc. will feature perennials, herbs, bulbs, native plants and heirloom tomato plants. There will be plants for sun and shade, dry places and wet areas. Master Gardeners will be close at hand to offer planting and growing advice and colorful garden gloves will be available for sale. For nearly two decades the Master Gardener Scholarship Program has funded scholarships for county students. This year students in the Horticulture Program at Carteret County Community College are eligible to apply. Proceeds from the Plant Sale, and the sale of gloves support the funding.
