The Unitarian Coastal Fellowship of Morehead City is pleased to announce a Social Justice Film Series about various social justice topics, from racial justice to environmental issues to LGBTQ+ rights. Showings will take place in the church’s sanctuary. All films will be free to the public, and there will be ten films in total. Check our website and social media for full list of films.

Adventure Awaits: Join The Summer Reading Program at Your Local Library!
This summer, your library card is a ticket to adventure! Our summer reading program is designed to inspire a love of reading and exploration. The Craven-Pamlico Regional Libraries invite readers of all ages to embark on an exhilarating journey filled with books, activities, and events.
“Our theme this year, ‘Adventure Begins at Your Library,’ aims to spark curiosity and encourage lifelong learning through the magic of stories and adventures,” said Katherine Clowers, Regional Library Director. “We’re excited to offer a diverse range of programs that cater to all age groups, ensuring that everyone can find their own adventure at the library this summer.”

Join a member of our Education Team and Experience Outer Banks history and wildlife with a guided hike on Shackleford Banks, part of the Cape Lookout National Seashore. Participants will take a ferry to an undeveloped barrier island. This field trip requires hiking through sandy terrain for 2 to 2.5 miles. The program is recommended for ages 12 and up.
