Great White will perform live at the 5th Annual Celebration on the Sound. The evening begins with a Tailgate on the Patio at 6:00 p.m., featuring food trucks, beverages (beer, soda, and water), and music to kick off the event. Guests will then head inside the Crystal Coast Civic Center for a full concert as Great White performs their iconic rock hits.

This free concert will feature a variety of music from traditional band pieces and marches to lighter selections and familiar tunes. Our group is made up of musicians from many different backgrounds who simply share a love of playing music and bringing it to our community.

The North Carolina Symphony is returning to Tryon Palace! This program features patriotic favorites such as Sousa’s “The Stars and Stripes Forever,” John Williams’ “Liberty Fanfare,” the “Armed Forces Salute,” and Copland’s “Buckaroo Holiday.”
Join us on the South Lawn as the NC Symphony performs patriotic standards featuring a special performance by the Tryon Palace Fife and Drum Corps.
This event is FREE to attend and open to the public. Space may become limited, so we recommend arriving early. Gates open at 5:30PM. Event begins at 7PM.

The 12th annual Ol' Front Porch Music Festival at the riverfront in Oriental, NC is Friday and Saturday Oct. 2-3, 2026. Free this year and every year, it showcases a dynamic mix of nationally touring artists and regional favorites. Music begins Friday at 1pm and Saturday at 11am on the Riverfront Stage on the Neuse River and on porches throughout Oriental. Final Riverfront shows each day start at 5pm. Golf cart shuttles along the festival route provided. Americana, bluegrass, zydeco, roots, Latin, gospel, jazz, country, folk. Not just great music. Eclectic mix of arts and craftsmen. And it's a foodie destination!

This event is a Third Thursday Variety Showcase. It features members of the Beaufort County Traditional Music Association performing acoustic traditional songs in a family friendly venue.
