The Cypress Group of the NC Sierra Club's monthly program on Tuesday, March 11, at 7:00 p.m. at "Tapped" on Firetower Road, will be "Save Our Wetlands’" with Bella Peadon from the North Carolina Conservation Network. This is a campaign fighting to restore wetland protections across the state. Ms. Peadon will also describe their organization and its past successes.

Bella Peadon is an Organizer for the North Carolina Conservation Network. She graduated from UNCW in 2023, where she studied environmental science and nonprofit management while also doing undergraduate research in environmental education. She served a term with AmeriCorps working for the Bureau of Land Management and began her career as a campus intern with Conservation Network almost 4 years ago.
