Sam Bass presents "Boys on the Edge"

Sam Bass presents "Boys on the Edge"

All are invited to the Friends of the Bogue Banks Public Library Annual meeting. After a brief business meeting, Bogue Banks’ own Sam Bass will be our featured speaker. His first book Boys on the Edge is a coming-of-age memoir set at Cape Lookout. The presentation will include never-before-seen photos from family archives of what is now the national seashore. Sam will also share some history and documents of the family’s significant involvement with Cape Lookout and the state government before the National Park took over.

Doors open at 2 p.m., with the meeting starting at 3 p.m. Come early to enjoy the art gallery, bid on a silent auction, or renew your Friends membership.

A reception and book signing will follow
