Three Sound Rivers staffers recently completed the trip of a lifetime - a 12 day, 175 mile kayak journey down the Tar River. Throughout the trip, the three paddlers were able to highlight the recreational value of the Tar River, document any water quality issues affecting the river, and gained plenty of interesting stories.
Taylor Register, a Water Quality Specialist for Sound Rivers, and her paddle mates, Katey and Emily will share with Carolina Nature Coalition and you the stories of their working adventure.
