City Ballet of Wilmington presents The Snow Queen, a City Ballet audience favorite. It's a full length ballet based on the tale by Hans Christian Anderson that tells of true friendship put to the ultimate test, and the power of love to overcome evil.

With great messages for every age, the ballet is enhanced by beautiful costumes, magical snow scenes, and a wonderful symphonic score of classical music from great composers.

Founded in 2011 by Artistic Director Andrea Hill, the City Ballet of Wilmington (NC) is a premier, pre-professional company focusing on rigorous classical training and has grown into a top-tier, nationally known regional dance institution. Alumni have danced professionally with American Ballet Theatre, Miami Ballet, Louisville Ballet and Ballet Magnificat.
