Tarboro, NC. The Blount Bridgers House Foundation announces a lecture as part of a series of lectures focused on historical topics related to Eastern North Carolina. On Tuesday, January 30th at 6:30 p.m. Leonard Rogoff, Ph.D. will present “Tarboro’s Jewish Community, A History”. Dr. Rogoff is a historian for the Jewish Heritage Foundation of North Carolina and the president of the Southern Jewish Historical Society. He has written extensively on the Jewish South. He conceived, researched, and wrote text for the exhibit “Migrations: The Jewish Settlers of Eastern North Carolina.
