Join Charles Brett, Apothecary-Surgeon, to explore period medical treatments and the role of medical practitioners in colonial North Carolina.
What You’ll Learn
As an apothecary’s apprentice, you’ll review surgery and bandaging principles to treat injuries, and explore medicinal plants. As part of this workshop, you’ll have the opportunity to compound a medicinal recipe for treating ailments using period tools and techniques.
Ticketing Information
Tickets are $35 (plus tax) and include materials. Seating is limited.
