Pitt County Health Department Offers Community COVID-19 Vaccine Clinics Throughout September

The Pitt County Health Department will be offering Moderna COVID-19 Vaccination Clinics throughout the month of September for people 18 years or older who need either a first or second dose of the vaccine, according to a news release.

  Individuals seeking a second dose must bring their official COVID-19 vaccination card or other valid proof of vaccination to the clinics. The vaccine is free and offered on a walk-in basis. Several community clinics are scheduled, including the Piggly Wiggly on Dickinson Avenue in Greenville Sept. 9 and Sept. 10 from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m., The Roberts Company on Forlines Road in Winterville on Sept. 10 from 1 p.m. until 4 p.m., and the Old Town Hall Building on West Railroad Street in Bethel on Sept. 11 from 4 p.m. until 6 p.m. Pitt County’s Health Department also offers the Moderna vaccine on-site in Greenville Monday through Friday by appointment.
