Whales in North Carolina: Dive into Conservation and Education ConferenceJoin staff from Sound to Sea and the North Carolina Maritime Museum in Beaufort for this unique opportunity to learn about the whales found right off our coast. December 1-3, 2025 Sound to Sea is hosting an event for educators, science enthusiasts, or anyone interested in learning more about North Carolina's whale species. This conference will offer you a combination of workshops, presentations, and outdoor activities to understand whales from the inside out. Sign up for one day or all 3 days. Trinity Center will provide lodging and meals for participants who sign up for the full 3 day program. Credit will be offered towards the North Carolina Environmental Educator Certification Program with the N.C. Office of Environmental Education and Public Affairs.

Join Maile Wilder of Move Wildly Yoga for an hour-long mat yoga session in the Library Program Room on the first Saturday of every month at 9:30am. This class is great for all skill levels, but is geared towards adults.
If you don’t have a mat, we have 6 yoga mats for participants to borrow.
Help us continue to offer yoga at the Library by donating $5 at the event.

Learn the basics of formatting Word documents on Friday, December 12th at 10am. In this class, you'll learn how to create Word documents, format text and paragraphs, add pictures and design elements, and save your document to your computer or a USB.
This class is open to all adults who would like to learn how to use Microsoft Word.
**Registration is required for this program so we can reserve enough computers. You can bring a laptop or use a library desktop. Call the library to reserve your spot at 252-753-3355 or email Emma at erepp@farmvillenc.gov.
