Try-Yarn at the Palace | Fiber: Past, Present, and Future

Explore fibers from the past, present, and future at Tryon Palace. We will demonstrate the historical process of spinning and weaving, and show how raw, natural materials are made into a completed woven product. Various textile fabrics through the ages will be on display, as well as textile tools, wool samples and preps, and samples of 18th century clothing. This program is presented in collaboration with the Seacoast Spinners and Weavers Guild.
