  Preserving North Carolina’s Historic and Cultural Resources

Lauren Poole, a Historic Preservation Specialist with the North Carolina State Historic Preservation Office, will provide an overview of the programs and services administered by the State Historic Preservation Office, with a more specific focus on the National Register and Survey programs. The presentation will discuss how and why we preserve North Carolina’s historic and cultural heritage and the resources available through the State Historic Preservation Office to protect these important hallmarks of our state’s history. A question and answer session will follow this presentation.
