Christ Episcopal Church in downtown New Bern is thrilled to welcome its new pipe organ made by the Taylor & Boody organ building company to the state of North Carolina. The church celebrates with an Organ Dedication Concert that will be played by recitalist Nathaniel Gumbs on Friday, September 20th at 7:00 pm. Nathaniel Gumbs is a concert organist with McFarlane Artists, Inc, the current Director of Chapel Music at Yale University, and the former Director of Music and Arts and Church Organist at Friendship Missionary Baptist Church in Charlotte, North Carolina.
