The city of Kinston joins community members in celebrating Never Give Up Day on August 18th, 2023. Never Give Up Day is a day honoring the qualities of determination and the power of individuals who simply refuse to give in to life’s challenges. More than 80 cities across the US proclaim Never Give Up Day this year. This day encourages individuals and professionals to organize virtual and physical events to take place on a local or national scale. On Never Give Up Day community members are encouraged to praise not only those who have achieved great things, but also those who continue to struggle without despair. The Mayoral proclamation signals the city's role in recognizing the importance of perseverance.
