Celebrate Veterans Day at the Kinston-Lenoir County Public Library by learning about Kinston and Lenoir County’s fascinating WWII history.

Local author and historian Cliff Tyndall will deliver this presentation on Thursday, November 7 beginning at 6:30 p.m.. We invite all to hear the story of the Marine Corps aviation training facility outside Kinston, which would later become a 1950s Air Force Base and commercial airport.
