Harp for the Holidays Concert at the Bogue Banks Public Library

Harp for the Holidays Concert at the Bogue Banks Public Library
Join the Friends of the Bogue Banks Public Library on Thursday, December 12th at 5:15pm at the Library for a free holiday concert with harpist Sarah Williams. "Harp for the Holidays" is focused on "bringing some serenity to an otherwise hectic time of year."
In 1967 Sarah added harp studies to piano and alto saxophone. Through the years she played the harp in some interesting venues including: an aviary, a botanical conservatory, a major league baseball stadium, a sculpture garden, a winery, a museum, and an art gallery. She held offices in both the Pittsburgh and Philadelphia chapters of the American Harp Society, and has played in numerous harp ensemble concerts.
Sarah holds a B.S. in Zoology from Duke and a Masters degree from the University of Pittsburgh. She retired from Merck as Global Director of the Scientific Research Libraries.
Arrive early for good seats. Spoondrift will be open, during the concert and intermission.
Sponsored by the Friends of the Bogue Banks Public Library.
