Now is the time to order blooming bulbs for planting in Eastern NC. This year’s selections for colorful blooms will get your garden off to a beautiful start as the days start to lengthen. Featuring blooms that unfold at various times during the season, our carefully chosen bulbs will give you months of bright colors bringing delight to your entire neighborhood.
Craven County Master Gardeners are affiliated with NC State Extension Master Gardeners Volunteer Association. Funds earned through this sale will be used to further our effort to connect people to horticulture through science-based education and outreach that empowers North Carolinians to cultivate healthy plants, landscapes, ecosystems, and communities. Long time Master Gardener, Ethel Hess shares that “Our bulb sale is one of the ways that helps us support the programs put on by Craven Master Gardeners during the year, as well as update and maintain a demonstration garden that is free to the public for visiting and learning what grows best in this area. (Demonstration Gardens are located at the County Extension Office, 300 Industrial Drive, New Bern NC.)
