The annual "Country Christmas Craft Fair" will be held on Saturday, November 22, from 9 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. at St. James' UMC Community Life Center, 1011 Orange Street, Newport. Over 50 crafters and professional vendors will be featured selling Vantel Pearls in the Oyster, Tupperware, Thirty-One totes, woodcrafts, painted glassware, jewelry, crocheted/knitted items, paintings, Christmas decorations and ornaments, and much, much more. A variety of baked goods will be sold, including homemade cream puffs and cheesecakes. Hamburgers and hot dogs will be sold for lunch. A "Children's Room" will be open for "little shoppers" to buy inexpensive gifts for friends and family. Proceeds from booth rentals will go to the American Cancer Society.
