Becca’s annual stroke awareness walk has been organized to celebrate and support stroke survivors and their families. May is stroke awareness month. Becca is a young stroke survivor and mother of three sons. Her goal is to help raise awareness of the signs of stroke and the significant impact made by a couple of North Carolina nonprofit organizations that have helped her and many other strokes and brain injury survivors across the state. many resources and technological/medical advances have been allocated towards life-saving measures for people who suffer CVAs. It’s Becca’s hope to bring about awareness of and support for the survivor’s s continued need for support through their recovery journey.
