Law enforcement agencies will be training for an active-shooter scenario on a ferry in eastern North Carolina on Monday for the second time in under two weeks.
Hyde County Government officials said the training session will take place at the Swan Quarter Ferry Terminal from noon to 3 p.m.
It will involve the sheriff’s office, ALE, Marine Patrol, NC Wildlife, State Highway Patrol and the U.S. Coast Guard.
State, federal and local agencies conducted a similar training on Oct. 26 aboard the Cherry Branch ferry in Craven County.
