For these kids, school includes English, math and taking care of pigs and chickens

The number of farms in the U.S. has been shrinking. But some schools, particularly in the Midwest, want students to understand farm life and know where their food comes from.

One school in Iowa built a mini-farm, complete with a chicken coop and pens for pigs, sheep and goats. And as Katie Peikes of Harvest Pubic Media reports, that means lots of chores and lessons for students.
