Senate Refuses To Advance Trump's Controversial Nominee To The Federal Reserve Board

President Trump’s latest nomination to the Federal Reserve Board is in limbo after the Senate refused to approve Judy Shelton this week.

Shelton has faced opposition on both sides of the aisle for her controversial views, including her skepticism of the Fed’s political independence and her support for tying the value of the dollar to gold.
