US Nears 10 Million Coronavirus Cases As Pandemic Continues To Worsen

The coronavirus vaccine under development by Pfizer and BioNTech prevented more than 90% of infections in a study of more than 43,000 volunteers, according to new data released by the drugmakers on Monday.

Scientists are treating the news with cautious optimism as the U.S. nears 10 million cases of COVID-19 so far.
