Residents of the small town of Hyder, Alaska, rely on their neighbors across the border in Stewart, British Columbia, for groceries, fuel and medical care.
But Canada’s COVID-19 restrictions have curtailed much of the travel between Hyder and Stewart, including sending kids north to school. Jacob Resneck of CoastAlaska reports.
