Heavy rain and melting snow is swelling rivers across the Midwest. Floods are overwhelming communities from Louisiana to Michigan, and Monday the Ohio River may breach its banks near Louisville.
Also, over the weekend, at least a dozen tornadoes touched down in parts of Kentucky, Indiana, Tennessee and Arkansas, leaving at least five people dead.
