How A Driver Shortage Is Impacting The Trucking Industry

America needs more truckers. According to industry analysts at DAT Solutions, just one truck was available for every 12 loads needing to be shipped at the start of 2018, the lowest ratio since 2005. That’s pushing some retailers to delay nonessential shipments or pay high prices to get their goods delivered on time.
