Cubs fans are disappointed this morning after the New York Mets won last night’s game, securing their spot in the World Series.

The Chicago Cubs were hoping to return to the World Series for the first time since 1945. The last time the team won the Series was in 1908. The Mets haven’t been regulars in the series either. Their last win was in 1986.

Game 6 of the American League Championship Series is tomorrow and the Toronto Blue Jays and Kansas City Royals will compete for a spot in the World Series.

Here & Now’s Robin Young speaks with sports analyst Mike Pesca about the Cubs loss and the teams still in the running.
