Two Dozen European Banks Fail 'Stress Test'

Trading was suspended today in share trading for two Italian banks after they were among 24 banks that failed stress tests conducted by the European Banking Authority.

The tests are designed to show whether the banks could withstand another financial crisis. European Central Bank officials are putting a positive spin in the results, saying steps will be taken to fix the problems at the banks that failed.
