Assessing India's New Leader After 100 Days

From tea boy to the top table in politics — Narendra Modi’s journey makes a spectacularly good story. He has been prime minister of India now for 100 days. The right-wing Hindu nationalist leader took over in May, after winning by the biggest margin in three decades.

During his campaign, Modi promised to bring good times to India. The BBC’s Sanjoy Majumder assesses how that’s working out.
