The Environmental Protection Agency proposed a new Clean Power Plan in June, as part of a plan to reduce greenhouse gas emissions from power plants.
This week, the EPA has held public hearings in Atlanta, Denver, Washington D.C. and Pittsburgh to allow discussion about the proposed rules, which will gives states until 2016 to come up with plans to meet the federal targets for greenhouse gas reductions.
