The U.N. Security Council unanimously approves a resolution demanding Syrian cooperation in the ongoing probe into the assassination of former Lebanese Prime Minister Rafik Hariri. The United Nations is investigating Syria's alleged role in the killing.

Soderbergh Film Released Simultaneously in Theater, on DVD
The latest Steven Soderbergh movie, Bubble, opens Friday. It will be released simultaneously in theaters and on pay TV. Next week it will be released on DVD. Some say that kind of release is the way of the future, but theater owners are objecting.

Abbas to Consult on Palestinian Government
Hamas has been declared the official winner of this week's Palestinian parliamentary elections. The Islamist militant group will control 76 seats in the 132-member Palestinian Legislative Council. Palestinian leader Mahmoud Abbas said he would consult on the formation of a new government.

Haiti Elections Postponed Until January
The presidential election in Haiti has been postponed for the third time amid continuing violence and a lack of trained poll workers and equipment. Elections, set for Dec. 27, are now scheduled for Jan. 8. Michele Norris talks with Mark Schneider, senior vice president and special adviser on Latin America for the International Crisis Group.

Defense to Raise Moussaoui's Upbringing
Attorneys for Zacarias Moussaoui plan to provide evidence of a troubled childhood in order to save their client from a possible death sentence. Moussaoui pleaded guilty to complicity in the Sept. 11 plot last year and faces a sentencing trial that begins next month.
