Early Voting in Eastern NC: What to expect on the Carteret County ballot

Early voting is underway in Carteret County. PRE’s Meredith Radford has more on the ballot.

Carteret County has three early voting locations for the May 17^th primary, one in Beaufort, one in Newport, and one in Cedar Point.

There are two candidates running for District 1 of the Carteret County Board of Commissioners, and two for District 6, including incumbent Chris Chadwick. All are Republicans.

There are two Republicans on the ballot for District 1 of Carteret’s Board of Education.

For the NC House of Representatives District 13, three candidates are running, who are all Republicans.

Two Republican candidates are running for NC State Senate District 1.
